    1975 Honda CB125

I just got this today for free. It was about to get thrown away and I scored!

Do any of you have a 125 that runs? My bike looks pretty complete. Im going to take the ignition cylinder to the locksmith tomorrow and open up the carb.

It feels to have good compression when I kick it over.

Does anyone know how the chinese tanks are for quality and fitment? Cleaning up an old rusty one does not sound any fun.

i have a brand new chinese tank that should fit it and what appears to be an excellent motor from a 78 xl125. i'm going to be stripping the xl125 down to parts so if you are interested into anything, let me know...i'm planning to sell off pretty much the whole thing other than the frame, swinger, tank and seat.

Yes Id be interested in the chinese tank, side covers, carb and probably the front end too.

My bike has some lame disc brake front set up. Id rather have a drum than my sketchy disc brake.

I may be interested in the engine too if mine wont start.

Yesterday I found this on offer up for cheap. The tank and seat fit my cb and I got the xl engine.

The xl engines used larger valves, camshaft and carb. I read somewhere the cb145 cylinder bolts on.

These bikes are way cheaper to build than a z50 or ct70.

Do you have a link to it? I would like to see your bike. I ordered new points, condenser, ignition key, gaskets, and spark plug so far.

I would like to swap this disc brake out for a drum brake. Is there a hydraulic caliper and front master that bolts on?

If not can I use a cb350 front tire for the drum brake?
