I hear you there. We do tend to pay more for things we want.

ofcourse now that the Canadian dollar seems to be worth more than the American dollar things don't seem too bad.
SL70 modern racer! Just started this build. Still on the fence about single or dual shocks.Ill post more pics when I figure out how to. How about some input! The engine -150 "for now" Bolts rite in but you have to pull the head to get it in!
Finnally getting started on this build after long delay. Ill post more pics soon.

A pitster swinger works good just need spacers. Will post pics soon i hope. Been CRAZY doing everyones projects except mine. Im like the freaking pied piper with car stuff.
hey geezer did you build your sl 70? this is my 1974 xl 70. I wanted to go retro but could not find side panels. I just got my plates and tags.
I know I keep dragging my feet with this project.I will have new pics and progress report within a week or so. Sometimes E bay has side panels. Did you try ReMX ?

One word Mike "KING" You rock. I was hopeing to see a flattracker but that build is very tastefull and makes me feel warm and fuzzy!
