    Canucks pay way too much for this kind of stuff. We're used to it. I got $1400 for a Cherry all original XL70 (1300 miles) last summer, no where near what an SL would get, but still good money.

    Blah, blah, blah, whimper, whine... The pond stays frozen a lot longer, you get free health care and all the moose crap you want. Ain't so bad North-a-the-border, eh?

    ofcourse now that the Canadian dollar seems to be worth more than the American dollar things don't seem too bad.

    A pitster swinger works good just need spacers. Will post pics soon i hope. Been CRAZY doing everyones projects except mine. Im like the freaking pied piper with car stuff.

    That setup will be nice with the rear single shock. Great build thread. Can't wait to see the finished bike.

    hey geezer did you build your sl 70? this is my 1974 xl 70. I wanted to go retro but could not find side panels. I just got my plates and tags.

    I know I keep dragging my feet with this project.I will have new pics and progress report within a week or so. Sometimes E bay has side panels. Did you try ReMX ?

    Come Dave! Get the led out! Summer's here! Lol! Mine's been for a few weeks done. Off to Rhinebeck AMCA Meet in NY this week. Then Windber Minibike Reunion next week!!
