Just curious, but does any manufacturer make a dampened sprocket compatible with 420 chain? I know shift-up makes one for 415 chain, but I need one for 420. Anybody know if these are available? this is for a monkey hub, 3 bolt.

Takegawa makes a cush drive that accepts standard sprockets. costs $250.

Naw...that won't work. I have sold wheels with the hubs already built into them. On my other bike, I have the g'craft version of the dampened hub...it works great. However, that's not an option for me on this hub. So I still need just a dampened sprocket.
You know that the only difference between 420(1/4") and 415(3/16") chaindrives is the thickness of the sprocket?

edit: The hybrid driven sprocket, they have a xr50/100 ape nsf100 version as well, still 415 size though. Strange for a 100 version you would expect 420 (or maybe even 42![]()

Pardon my ignorance, but the sprocket determines the type of chain right? Can't you mount a 420 sprocket on this Takegawa hub?
What is the advantage of running such part?
Thanks!
Fatcaat has wheels with build in hubs, so the takegawa hub is obsolete.
