    71 CT70 Street Build

    I bought a 71 CT a few weeks ago for a street build. I took it all apart, sent the frame out to be powder coated and ordered some honda parts.
    What do you guys think at this point? I'm wanting a full restro, inverted forks, aluminum swinger, big motor yx184? Any suggestions would be great!
    Here is the frame, just got it back. I'll post more pics as I get parts.

    Looks great, sounds like you have big plans for the bike. Do you have your front end yet, would be good to see what that looks like.

    Brodie- I've got a front end ordered should have it in about 3 weeks

    69z- thanks! I really like the color too, its a deep red over silver. There is a radial arm drill and a brideport mill in the background. The lathes are at the other end of the shop.

    I got some CHP and honda parts in today. I need to order tires, what do you guys think? I've been looking at Heidenau K61 110/80s or michelin boppers 120/90s.

    Looking good. I think the K61 for the tyres. What motor are you thinking of using in it?

    Yeah K61s, that's what I was leaning towards. For the engine I was kicking around a yx184 with a V2 head, but now I'm thinking pretty hard about a 4 valve daytona.

    Haha if you have the money. A company over here has the Daytona T-Rex on sale for $999 which is very tempting.
