Are there any reproduction xr75 tanks. The monkeys have minimoto/tanaka/etc repro tank options. I would not mind having the slim offset fuel cap tank for my 82' XR100 restomod $100+ for a rusty used tank is not what I want to do.

+Received new and used parts quickly as ordered
+Made some progress, a lot of things to do and decisions to make.
+The 320mm Ebay shock make it sit about how I want. will need to raise the back another 1-1.5 inches to fit zokes and sit right.
+The Duro 4.80-8 tire mount easy on these rims.. yet to be seen if a custom beadlock will be needed. So far the Cast rims are fitting well. yet to be seen how they hold up. I am already thinking 10" set and maybe a 12" front. 10/12 cheater bike because the tire OD would be as big as a CRF 12/14 setup most likely if I did that.

*Do I convert this frame to fit the late model Z bodywork shown here for go with the early 1980s 5L tank and seat
*Make the head pipe really short and put the muffler before the shock like most traditional Z50 upswept exhaust or lengthen put the muffler after the shock Fast50s style
*Thinking about modding my front brake plate because all the adapters are a mess things falling apart everywhere when taking the wheel on and off.
*Same with the swingarm and taking the rear wheel off too much loose parts thinking of going at little longer and to a different style chain adjuster setup that doesnt fall apart when take the wheel off

-The short manifold does not fit as is. The carb hits the petcock. I will take the heat sheild out and lower it but I dont think that will be enough to clear.
-China HD pegmount is $50 with pegs. You get what you pay for. The mount holes are huge. no flat surface for washer/lockwasher to sit on. Made some washers with flats on them to clear the radius of the pegmounts. I also used a dremel and took sharp corners off and did some bending on the peg springs so they didnt stick out so far.
-My BMX bars dont have enough flat area in mounting location and dont seen to tighten up well. Looking at tall protapers online but not sure what to get.

Looks great so far. My vote is long pipe and late z body work.
The mx style seat is my jam.

Yeah, looks sweet as is. The late Z body work really fits well with the other all setup

Thought you guys would agree with the late model bodywork. looks like Ill be converting my frame just like this guy is currently
    Making a 88 z50 from a 80 frame

My frame is a monkey frame which is made for a battery box cover and doesn't have all the mounts for the 80s side panels. If I bought all the old stuff seat, gas tank, side panels, and plastics it would be ~$200. Making what I have fit is the cost of the sheet metal and then time to make/cut/weld the brackets. I have my stock 1998 to guide me which is more than Bonedaddy has for his linked above.
