anything wrong with this model ? bout to pick one up it needs a coil and a twist throttle can i get this stuff from a newer 50 ?

Without looking at the 82 I have I think the Throttle has the kill switch attached to it. I am fairly sure the coil has a ground wire coming from it. You could use a coil from a new 50 no problem. The one I have has 1 wire from the stator which goes to the coil past the kill switch.

Other than that I would say the handle bars are too low and my knees hit them when I try to turn. The rear shocks are quite soft on mine as well. Hope this helps some what. Stick some photos up!

I believe the bars will be 7/8" stock, so a throttle from a xr/CRF would not fit unless you had converted to larger bars already. You can get all of the parts though.do a couple searches on vender sites, I think you will find what you need. Enjoy.
