Nice work razzo. Looks very vintage. I don't recognize the seat. Is it an off the shelf item or is it custom design pan and cover?

Thank you Dave, Brodie and Bobby! Was a fun build for a great guy. He is enjoying it throughly. He wanted it for a pitbike for vintage meets. After he so it, he was afraid to ride it. Lol! Guys kept telling him to put it in his living room. No good there though. Ride it!

Beautiful. Did you see the Vincent tribute Yamaha (full size bike) on bikeexif.com a week or two ago? Much as I like that one, I like this one better. Way to go, Razzo. Sweet lookin little bike.

Yeah, count one more vote for the vented hubs. Believe it or not, I had two brake panels from my polishing session last week that had bad dings, and would never look right (or maybe after sanding the first 8 panels, I was looking to get out of the last two,) so I decided to drill some vents. Well I got as far as sketching them out, but couldn't decide on holes vs. slots. What I really want to do is make a scooped vent, like the early JRP type. Anyway, Razzo, you beat me to it by a good bit. Congrats again on a great ride. Only thing that would have made it better would be if you got to keep it (my mini-hoarder instincts made me say that, sorry.) Pics below of the JRP and my sketches. Any thoughts: holes vs. slots?

I have done both for few years now. I do the holes then ream edge. My bud John has machine shop and we did vertical curved slots front and back) and another plate we did flared cut-outs on the front only. Like both! I'll post up some pictures if you want.
