A little more progress. Not perfect, but quite content with how it turned out. Got a little more to do to it. Heck of a lot better than what I started out with. Having fun still. Rick

Really enjoying this build. The guitar pick-up selector on the kill switch is great.

Thanks Davmo. Its the little details I find interesting/fun on these rebuilds. Thinking outside the box and having some fun. Would love to make it out to your next weekend moto throwdown. Looks like a lot of fun.

Dav mac, thanks. Sizes are 3.50 x 8 both front and back. Heidenu K75. Cool mini bike street tread design. Fork assembly is a future post with pics.

    A few more.

Hey man, absolutely! We are always looking for other mini enthusiasts. Should I forget to throw an invitation your way, consider this an invitation when you see the next one announced. It would be great to see this bike in person!

Some more. Harley wanted to say "Hi" to the mini and get a lil loving. Couple of upside down photos working on the those forks. New parts in stock tubes but still have a little front fork wobble. Dang it. New delrin bushes needed I guess. More to come.

Man that bike is going to be sweet!! love the disk brakes

are those caged bearings for the head??

The wobble in the head is what I am fearing on my build, from what I have read these things *PISTON_CT70KO FORK_SLIDER 1/14M (51C) (thanks Davmo) are the ticket, did you have those intalled??

    Dave mac,
That bearing set is from a 92' z50. Cleaned up, re-greased and re-used. The bearings are banded in a plastic material and fit right in the z50 race and lock down holder. Perfect fit. Easier to work with than those loose ball bearings too.

Slop/play in the head isn't the problem (see above bearing set), mine is loose/wobbly in the forks where the lower fork leg slides into the upper fork assembly. Thanks for the heads up on that bushing. I had seen that before and forgot all about them. Looks like I'll be ordering up a couple sets of those and the delrin slides .
