Do think it would get enough to get me a set of 8" chrome rims?

Have the frame completely stripped now. Going to bead blast and paint it gloss or semi gloss black. Also had some time to polish. Figure once I can see my reflection it is polished enough and not worth anymore hand cramps.

In other news I picked up a Honda Fat Cat. Why cant we be happy with just one project?!

Getting there! Just a few more parts to polish and need to get the frame powdered or painted. Glossy black powder coat is 150!! for the frame and swing arm. Which seems pricey to me, but might have to bite the bullet.

Have two more rounds of buffing to go through but going to wait tell I am ready to install them.

One on the right is the stock chrome cleaned up.

looks very good...by the way wrinkle black makes a good frame coating, hides alot of imperfections, and has a great texture...for 7 dollars

That is deff in my price range! But looking for a smooth glossy finish. If had too much money I would do black chrome. haha

New brake and throttle cables came today and once the headlight sells I will be picking up some 8x3.5 or 8x4 chrome rims for the k65's. (Thanks to @dstrat111 for pointing out rim sizes to me. =)

After some more research i realized that the 72 has a "tail" light and not a "brake" light. Anyone have any tips for making the light shine brighter when I use the brakes? I picked up a 71 brake cable with switch, but not sure of the best way to use it yet.

In other news the frame has been sand blasted the steering stop welded back to its original size and will be painted glossy black next week.

Frame and swing arm are painted a nice glossy black. 3.5x8" rims are on there way from TBolt! And I just ground off my welded on kick starter... Now the question is do I weld the next one back on, add a keyway, buy a 110cc 4 speed Chinese engine, or split the cases and replace the shaft... =/

Better idea. Drilling the shafts and the kick start lever and running a bolt through it. Should look clean and be easy to remove.

Out with the old in with the new! Aluminum 3.5x8" rims from Tbolt wearing 4x8 K75's. Tire and rim weigh significantly less than the stocker.
