    New Paint Bubbling

Yesterday I painted my z50 motor with VHT high temp engine paint. Today it's bubbling in several spots.
I prepped it using high pressure spray, degreaser, Easy Off oven cleaner, wire brushed and a final clean with a pre paint cleaner. I then used the VHT high temp primer, paint and clear coat.
Very dissapointed that it's bubbling today after I took the time to prepare the surface.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong?
    Thank you!

Did you do the final paint work (primer, color, clear) to the individual engine pieces, or after you assembled the engine?

FWIW, I had heard some years ago that painting a complete engine assembly tends to make them run hotter and hinders the heat disbursing abilities. For that reason, I never painted an engine until last year when I had one completely apart. I used the Dupli-Color Engine paint with ceramic on all the individual parts, clear coated them and reassembled the engine. As of right now, the engine has about 20 hours of run time on it with no issues at all. I only glassbeaded all the parts prior to painting, using contact cleaner and compressed air to clean them afterwards
