Cam chain noise should only be heard at idle and just off then go away. Hard to tell in your video but that is much louder then a loose cam chain.

Last night I removed the E22 chinese head and race cam. I reinstalled my OEM Honda head with a stock canshaft after lapping in another set of valves.

The bike started pretty quickly and I went for a few laps around the block. It was pretty fun for a while, then it just stalled out & became hard to start.

Im happy the loud noise has dissapeared, now I need to dial in the carb & timing.

What do you guys think about how it runs now? I inspected the rod bearing, piston & rings...they all look good!

Sounds alot better. Carb needs a little more fine tuning. I had to stop watching your video after I threw up though.

I played around with adjusting the carb & took the kids a ride around the block a few times. The bike seems to run fine now.

This is my first 70 so I dont have anything to compare it to.

Your bike sounded MUCH better in the last vid I watched. Your stock 70 should zip up to 30/32mph pretty quick. Then maybe get into high 30's, maybe 40mph. If it goes faster than 40 you can feel really good about that.

The carb needs a little more adjustment, there was 1 small o ring that I did not install. Im not sure where they go.

The screw with the tab on it moves around and is basically sitting there loosely. The bike should be running better than it is now.
