Hey it's me again. PITA newb with carb rebuild question 1971 CT70

    Sorry but more questions...

buke has been sitting for 35 years. Has 1100 miles on it. Going t take carb apart and clean it. Was looking on eBay for kits and confused. Should I just clean or replace jets? Kits have just gaskets or ones with jets and needles. Which should do you recommend. Just clean or total rebuild?

Are ebay kits okay or is there somewhere else I should get them?

    Thanks!

You can probably get away with just a gasket kit, and clean up everything else. Honda parts are always best.

So I asked a guy on eBay and he said Honda didn't make a carb kit for 1971? Anybody know a part number?

Thanks. I bought from dratv off eBay but it was oem Honda because I wanted the strainer.

The odd thing is the PDF says 16010-102-305 but a different parts checker says 16010-098-305 is the right one. The dratv says it is the 16010-098-305. Probably the same or has an extra seal.
