Here is a 1978 yamaha Chappy. Its all original condition with 4300 (now 4666) miles on it. This is a fully automatic 2-speed with high and low...for a total of 4 speeds.
Tires hold air...front is original and rear is chin cheng. The paint is in super good, clean condition and so are the plastics. Forks nice and everything else relatively clean. Engine is super clean. Its obvious that this was garage kept and well kept. Super compression and spark. All switches are there and click very snappy-like. Cables are good. Brakes work awesome. Good action on the forks.
Front tire is weathered and will need replacing soon. Seat needs a cover, but the foam is fine. And the kickstarter is not engaging...don't know why? I push start it and starts in 2-3 feet when cold and 1 foot when hot. Drips a little oil when hot, but have not determed where from.
Original headlight is a sealed beam. They were blown, so I put a 35W fog light in there. Its at least 3 times brighter than original. Key was missing for a long time. I installed a toggle.
I have recently cleaned out the gas tank, oil tank, lines, etc and put in fresh crankcase oil, fresh mixing oil, and fresh gasoline. I rejetted it since I'm running a better filter on it and dialed it in. It runs like a new one now.
All lights work perfectly. Turnsignals work as well. I've put 300 miles on it since tuned up and will be putting 50 or so on it tonight (6/23)
I want $500 for this. Will only ship if you make all the arrangements. Of course you can come and pickup or I can drop off somewhere in NE PA or meet you at mid ohio vintage days in a few weeks.

AND if you don't like the 2-smoke, these are really easy to convert to using our horizontal honda 4-stroke motors.
